In the project space, Reflections on Breathing by Danish artist Jeppe Hein invites visitors to slow down and become aware of their own presence. At its heart is Breathe With Me, a large-scale participatory work in which each visitor’s exhale is translated into a simple blue line on the canvas walls, gradually building into a collective portrait of presence and connection — a piece first developed with ART 2030 and shown at the United Nations and in Central Park. The exhibition also brings together Hein’s Modified Social Benches, familiar park benches subtly altered to turn sitting into a shared, conscious experience, and his suspended Rotating Mirrors, which continuously fragment and multiply the surrounding space. Together, these works create an environment built around participation, awareness and play.

VIEWING DEPOT EXH#03 takes visitors behind the scenes of the Vanhaerents Art Collection, one of Europe’s most significant private collections of contemporary art. Spread across all three floors of the depot, the exhibition brings together recent acquisitions and seminal works, loosely structured around the Chinese zodiac signs. Curated by Walter Vanhaerents with his children Joost and Els, it features artists including Gilbert & George, Jonathan Meese, Gregory Crewdson, Alvaro Barrington and Gillian Wearing, whose works confront themes of freedom, identity and the human condition with striking visual force.
