For over 10 years, Le Loft has served as a unique setting for an annually updated exhibition of works from the Servais Family Collection. It offers visitors the chance to discover an international range of contemporary artistic practices.

The current exhibition hear/here investigates silence as a structure - drawing on anthropological notions of social silence to approach reality through its unspoken narratives. Conceived as a methodology across the exhibition, silence is articulated through three central works by Lawrence Abu Hamdan, Diana Larrea, and Olga de Amaral, each functioning as a conceptual and spatial nucleus for one of the exhibition’s floors. From these operative cores, the exhibition unfolds through multiple registers of silence: as a space of contemplation and interiority, as a mechanism of discipline, suppression and violence, and as a constitutive force in the writing of history itself. In doing so, hear/here considers the ways in which what remains unheard, unspoken, or withheld may shape social realities as profoundly as what is made visible and declared.
