From 10 to 13 September, as part of RendezVous, Sotheby’s will unveil in Brussels a preview of highlights from its forthcoming Modernités auction, to be held in Paris on 23 October, concurrent with Art Basel Paris. Featuring works by artists ranging from Balthus, Pablo Picasso and Nicolas de Staël to Richard Prince, Marlene Dumas and Wolfgang Tillmans, the selection showcases the richness and diversity of artistic practices that have shaped and redefined modernity across generations.
